The refuge Fodara Vedla
We often visit this refuge during the excursions in the Nature Park Fanes-Sennes-Braies we organize for the guests of the Aqua Bad Cortina. The Fodara Vedla refuge is located right in the heart of the park, which has been declared UNESCO World Natural Heritage; only a 3km walk from Pederü, on 1980m above sea level, nestled between mountain pastures, meadows and pine forests, with a beautiful chapel.
The refuge Fodara Vedla is run with love and passion by the Mutschlechner family: by Arthur and Frieda, the parents of Sandra, and by the sisters Sabine, Monica and Lorena with her husband David. The restaurant serves typical local dishes and is ideal for a lunch break filled with nature and tradition. For those who would like to stay a bit longer in this wonderful place, the refuge offers comfortable rooms with a breathtaking panoramic view.
The Graziani Refuge - on the slopes of Mount Plan de Corones / Kronplatz
The Graziani Refuge, located at 2080m above sea level on the slopes of Mount Plan de Corones, is one of the most popular meeting points on Plan de Corones. The terrace has a breathtaking panoramic view, one of the best in the Dolomites. The scenery includes the beautiful Tofane, the Dolomites of Marebbe, the Marmolada and the Sella Ronda. From the terrace you may also see our hotel in San Vigilio di Marebbe.
The refuge serves exclusive dishes devotedly arranged by Chef Emil and his staff. The landlord, Uncle Alexander, is the first Ladin singer and song writer and three times a week lunch at the Graziani Refuge is even more enjoyable, because Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays there is live music. For those who want to stay a bit longer, the shelter offers simple rooms with a panoramic view and shared bathroom. Simply contact the Mutschlechner Family at the Graziani refuge, the meeting place on the slopes of Plan de Corones.
