Hiking to the "Fanes" plateau, in the heearth of Unesco world heritage

Together with Fabrizio and Nicol we drive by Defender until "Pederü". We walk up the "Alta Via" mountain walk, called "Sentiero della pace / peace walk" between fascinating woods and spectacular views to the "Fanes" (2.060 m) and "Lavarella" (2.042 m) refuges. After a good meal we walk on towards "Lé Vert" lake, majestic place, and than down on the park street until Pederü. On the way we will walk by the "Piciodèl" lake and if we well pay attention and if we will be lucky, we'll see the marmots, the chamois and the spectacular dolomites eagle! >>>

 

Sun uprising and Sundown

Have you ever seen the sunrise or the sundown, from a peak of the Dolomites? I can assure you that it is a deep emotion. You are on the top of the world and it's a pleasant memory. For ever. The Dolomites with their typical red colour. This week is dedicated to those who would like to feel the same emotions as a mountain man... the one who feels emotion like a little child admiring the majestic nature! >>>

 

Excursion to the "Fodara Vedla" plateau and to "Sas dla Para" peak

From "Pederü" 1.548 m, we walk for 3 km high until we'll arrive to, managed by Sandras Family, the "Fodara Vedla" mountain refuge, surrounded by wonderful mountain meadows, cows. swiss pines and a very cosy chapel! Here we are in the very hearth of our natural park, Unesco World Heritage! For thos who feel fit we will walk on to the "Sas dla Para" peak, a 2.460 m high, from where we will admire a wonderful view at one side above Cortina d'Ampezzo and at the other side above San Vigilio and more we will see the Aqua Bad Cortina! >>>

 

Walk to the "Corn" peak and to "Rid" mountain meadows

The hike, made in the "Outside of Time" period, has as target a very panorama rich area. We walk from the hotel to the "Piz de Plaies" lift. From the peak we walk on side of the "Corn" peak to the "Rid" meadows where we will have lunch with a very beautiful towards Badia Valley and Marmolada. After lunch we will walk down a small path to "Ciamaor" and than we will soon be back at Aqua Bad Cortina. >>>
