Skiing in Val Badia:
a stone’s throw from Aqua Bad Cortina Hotel

Concerning winter sports, the Badia Valley has become an important name at international level. San Vigilio, due to the beauty of this village also called "Pearl of the Val Badia", is a strategic starting point for ski lovers, both for the Plan de Corones, as well as for the Dolomiti Superski area, which includes the Val Badia.
The ski slopes start right in the village of San Vigilio. With the new line “connecting skiers”, a modern shuttle bus takes you in just 20 minutes from the slope Piculin straight into the heart of the Val Badia, from where you can enjoy the legendary Gran Risa slope or the sanctuary of La Crûsc. From here you have a wonderful view over the village of San Leonardo, and you are connected to the rest of the Val Badia by the ski tour Santa Croce.

All this can be done on skiers in just 40 minutes from the private Aqua Bad Cortina storage room located directly on the slopes of San Vigilio (with the exception of the 20 minutes ride on the shuttle bus).
In December and in mid-January you can accompany Nicol, the owner, on the unique Sella Ronda adventure: experience the four famous passes around the Sella massif on one of the most famous routes in the whole Dolomiti Superski area.
